In September 1995, Susan Stewart Taylor and Geoff Astles decided to open their own clinic after graduating from massage therapy school. Now locally owned and operated, Tecumseh Massage Therapy Clinic has expanded to include 7 treatment rooms and 16 registered massage therapists.

A Windsor native, Geoff has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1995 after graduating from D’Arcy Lane Institute. Geoff earned a B.H.K. in Applied Kinesiology from the University of Windsor in 1993. Geoff specializes in deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and relaxational massage. He has 21 years of experience doing pre-natal massage, sport related injuries, treatments related to motor vehicle accident injuries and work related injuries. Client base is very well diversified by treating different ailments such as low back pain and neck pain to numerous conditions such as fibromyalgia, headaches and M.S.
Geoff enjoys spending time with his family, running, swimming, cycling, golfing and officiating basketball. He is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
Susan Stewart Taylor opened Tecumseh Massage Therapy Clinic with Geoff Astles after graduating from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 1995. Sue received an Honours Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor and has taken a multitude of advanced training courses over the years, specializing in myofascial release, TMJ treatment and pregnancy massage. She has taken courses in advanced therapeutic taping and loves to work with athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to high-level competitors.
For 2 years Sue worked as a massage therapy instructor, then as an examiner for the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario provincial registration exams for 6 years. She gained 9 years’ experience as an assessor for motor vehicle accident injury disputes while working at Windsor Regional Hospital in their Designated Assessment Centre (DAC). Susan developed and maintained a volunteer massage therapy program, where patients and caregivers were given free access to massage through Hospice of Windsor; and as a result was the recipient of the Hospice Business/Community Group recognition award in 2008.
Angie, a registered massage therapist, has been with Tecumseh Massage Therapy Clinic since graduating in 2005 from the Canadian College of Health, Science and Technology. Born and raised in Windsor, Angie now calls the town of Essex her home. Specializing in therapeutic deep tissue and general relaxation massage, incorporating Swedish techniques, Angie has rehabilitated auto accident, sport injured and the everyday ache and pain client to success. Although covering a wide range of treatments, Angie also focuses on trigger points, prenatal massage, and sciatic nerve and tendinitis treatment.
Kim graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 1999 and has been a therapist for over 15 years, almost all of which have been with TMTC. She has also studied the John Barnes Myofascial Release technique.
Kim focuses her treatments on clients’ needs and finds that the majority of them are having shoulder girdle and/or low back pain and tension. She is an advocate of her clients, maintaining healthy biomechanics through daily stretching/strengthening and coming in for treatments when needed. Kim is available for Saturday and evening appointments.
Nia is a Registered Massage Therapist and has been with Tecumseh Massage Therapy Clinic since 2004.
She specializes in therapeutic deep tissue, trigger points, prenatal, pregnancy, and general relaxation massage incorporating Swedish techniques.
Nia has rehabilitated sport injuries, auto accident pain and everyday ache-and-pain clients successfully.
Brandy's interest in massage started after high school during training for aesthetics. During that time she tried massage therapy for the first time and started to continue consecutive treatments. She realized how much of an impact it made on relaxing the mind and body.
Soon after, she decided to enroll at CCHST in Windsor and graduated in 2005. Brandy feels that providing and receiving consistent massage therapy treatments creates the opportunity and fulfillment for a more balanced life. She has been practicing for over 9 years now and thoroughly enjoys her work.
Darlene graduated from the Massage Therapy program at CDI College in Hamilton in 2006 and moved back to Windsor at the end of that year. She was excited to start 2007 fresh in her hometown and has been practicing at Tecumseh Massage Therapy Clinic ever since.
Darlene’s focus is on client care. Using basic Swedish massage techniques, she provides relaxation and therapeutic treatments, based on the client's needs.
She loves dancing, running and yoga. In February 2014, Darlene went to L.A. to become a certified Moksha Hot Yoga Instructor and has been teaching at the Windsor location since her return in March. Darlene has discovered that massage and yoga blend perfectly together and feels fortunate to be a part of both amazing communities.
Massage therapy is a second career for Michelle after 20 years in the auto industry. It has become her passion after graduating CCHST in 2010.
Her focus is on the needs of the client during a treatment, and she goes above and beyond to serve them.
Michelle specializes in deep tissue massage consisting of deep pressure and trigger point therapy. Modalities include: Thai Massage, Indian Head Massage, Sports Massage, and Aromatherapy. Her relaxation massages include high grade essential oils for stress, energy, deep relaxation and sinus decongestion.
Jenny is a graduate from the University of Windsor with a Bachelors of Arts in Food and Nutrition. She has more than 25 years of experience working in health care. Having graduated in 2013 from the Canadian College Health, Science and Technology in the Massage Therapy Program, she has been registered with CMTO and RMTAO since July 2013.
Jenny incorporates many different modalities into her massage. She works from a Swedish base and incorporates elements of deep tissue, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations and active inhibition techniques. In addition, she provides and demonstrates remedial exercises to be utilized at home. Each client's treatment is individually based.
Jenny looks forward to growing in her field by focusing on sports injuries, rehabilitation and maintenance. Her ultimate goal is to provide her client with the best possible care.
